The L.A. River Comes to Monterey

Jennifer joined Jonathan Bishop, Chief Deputy Director of the State Water Resources Control Board at the California Lawyers Association’s Annual Meeting on a panel on the Los Angeles River as a case study to illuminate issues that arise when wastewater and stormwater reuse are proposed as new water supplies. Jennifer discussed the geologic and regulatory history of the River, current trends for its use and redevelopment, and the political, economic, and policy obstacles in its way.
